The purpose of this school project was to make a portrait of somebody’s work, passion or activity. The result must include some specific aspects such as: a series of 10-15 black and white pictures - a legend on each picture of max. 140 characters - specific sounds - a “progress bar”, etc.
I decided to put the focus on Patrick Jadot, a great ceramic artist and friend of mine. I tried to turn the B/W contraint to my advantage by shooting in low light conditions. This kind of artistic work and indoor photography was for me a first experience. Try out the website
I Enjoyed working on this project, it’s definitely something i want to push further. Most probably this summer. I just got my new DSLR. With which I hope to improve my photography skills and bring the ideas that have been haunting my mind since years to life
